Maintenance Engineer

Job Overview:
Reed Engineering is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to join our team in Rochester. This role involves maintaining machines and equipment to the highest standards through effective maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain equipment in good repair and implement a systematic planned maintenance programme.
- Respond to faults and breakdowns using fault-finding techniques, ensuring clear communication with affected parties and efficient resolution.
- Coordinate with production teams to schedule downtime for necessary service, modification, or repairs.
- Manage a stock of critical spare parts and order parts needed for service and repair work.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Educational background includes an electrical apprenticeship (City & Guilds), HNC, ONC, NVQ Level 3, or 18th Edition qualification.
Estimated Salary: £48,375 per annum, depending on experience, based on a competitive salary range of £45,000-£60,000 per annum in the Rochester area.
