Payroll Officer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team at Spencer Clarke Group. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the monthly payroll cycle, including calculating deductions, handling new hires and terminations, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Payroll Processing: Process and manage all aspects of the monthly payroll cycle in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Employee Benefits: Administer employee benefits, such as health insurance, company cars, and other benefits.
  3. Payroll Records: Prepare and maintain accurate payroll records and reports.
  4. Query Resolution: Analyse and resolve payroll and benefit-related queries, effectively communicating with colleagues across the business to ensure a high standard of employee experience.
Requirements:
  1. Comprehensive Understanding: Comprehensive understanding and experience in payroll processing and legislation.
  2. System Implementation: Experience implementing new payroll systems, either as part of a team or project management.
  3. Part-time Hours: Part-time hours - 3 days, may be negotiable.
