Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Main Responsibilities:
As an Occupational Therapist with Ackerman Pierce Ltd, you will be responsible for assessing service users and carers with complex needs in relation to their home environment. You will provide expert advice and assessments for equipment and home modifications, recommending adaptations to meet their needs. You will work autonomously and in liaison with Social Work colleagues to utilize their functional, moving and handling skills and knowledge of equipment to positively influence the care and support needs of our residents.

Requirements:
Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community is essential. You should have experience working with major adaptations, community rehab experience in the UK, rapid response experience, and manual handling experience. You must be registered with the HCPC and have an enhanced DBS/CRB. Eligibility to work in the UK is also required. An Occupational Therapist qualification is a must.
