This is an exciting opportunity to join Bristol City Council's Parks team as a Parks Maintenance Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the city's parks and green spaces, ensuring they remain clean, safe, and welcoming for the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Litter picking and bin emptying to maintain a clean and tidy environment
  • Grass cutting and shrub maintenance using hand-held machinery to keep parks and green spaces looking their best
  • Clearing flytips from parks and green spaces to prevent litter and debris

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence and ability to drive a range of vehicles
  • Ability to carry out the physical demands of the role, working outdoors and at weekends
  • Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace
  • Good communication skills
