Site Manager Opportunity

Howells Recruitment is working with a leading social housing contractor to recruit a proactive Site Manager to deliver a refurbishment scheme. As the Site Manager, you will supervise and manage subcontractors undertaking works, ensuring the works are completed in a safe and efficient manner within stated timescales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise subcontractors to ensure timely completion of works
  • Inspect properties pre and post works to ensure quality and safety standards
  • Take progress meetings to oversee the day-to-day delivery of the programme
  • Manage sub-contractors, including Assistant Site Managers, RLOs, and in-house labour
  • Set up and maintain Health and Safety documentation, including RAMS and Construction Phase Plans

Requirements:

  • Established Site Manager with experience as a No. 1 Site Manager for a main contractor
  • Relevant qualifications, including SMSTS, Scaffold Inspection Certificate, First Aid, CSCS Card, and Asbestos Awareness (preferred)
