Job Description

Expleo Engineering UK Limited is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Instrument Cluster Engineer to join our Research and Development team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and development of Instrument Clusters, Head-Up Displays, and Displays for our client, a leading Automotive OEM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design reviews to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of parts under development.
  • Develop Instrument Clusters, Head-Up Displays, and Displays that meet design and test standards.
  • Maintain part BOMs across European vehicles.
  • Prepare functional specifications.
  • Review and approve part drawings submitted by suppliers.
  • Resolve technical issues with test departments and suppliers.
  • Conduct vehicle life cycle cost reduction idea generation and implementation.
  • Lead vehicle life cycle warranty investigations.

Requirements:

  • Degree educated in a relevant subject matter.
  • Experience in the development of Instrument Clusters, Head-Up Displays, or Displays within the automotive industry.
  • Familiarity with electrical theory related to parts and connected circuits.
  • Understanding of software development and validation methods.
  • Experience of electrical architecture.
  • Knowledge of LIN or CAN tools.
