The Golf Course Starter/Cart Attendant is a key member of the Cleveland Metroparks golf team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service to golf guests, monitoring greens, coordinating order of play, and enforcing golf course etiquette, rules, and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to golf guests, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience.
- Monitor greens and driving ranges to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for golfers.
- Coordinate order of play to ensure efficient and timely tee times.
- Enforce golf course etiquette, rules, and policies to maintain a fair and enjoyable game for all golfers.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with golfers, staff, and management to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
- Respond to hazardous situations and report any issues to management.
- Perform related duties as assigned or apparent.
Requirements
- Regular and predictable attendance is expected and required.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of golf rules and etiquette.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment as needed.
