Children\u0027s Home Registered Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Children\u0027s Home Registered Manager to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a new children\u0027s home in Leeds, working with young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the 4-bedded residential home, ensuring the effective delivery of the main responsibilities and key result areas identified within the role of Residential Manager. This includes participating in an on-call rota, managing the residential service, building and developing the staff team, and ensuring the service meets OFSTED standards.

The package on offer includes a competitive salary of up to \u00a360,000, plus \u00a35,000 in welcome bonuses and up to 10% performance bonuses. We are looking for someone with a full UK driving licence, completed Level 5 Residential Childcare, experience within an EBD setting, and QCF 3 in Children and Young People\u0027s Workforce (Children\u0027s Social Care Pathway) or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the residential service, offering expert support to young people with EBD.
  • Participate in an on-call rota to ensure effective management across services on a 24/7 basis.
  • Build and develop the staff team.
  • Manage residential staff team, including Deputies, Team Leaders, and Support Workers.
  • Ensure the service meets OFSTED standards.
  • Manage recruitment and staffing.
  • Work with Senior Management Team to ensure the service implements company policies and procedures.
  • Manage quality assurance.
  • Manage budget.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Completed Level 5 Residential Childcare.
  • Experience within an EBD setting.
  • QCF 3 in Children and Young People\u0027s Workforce (Children\u0027s Social Care Pathway) or equivalent.
