About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Neuro Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dedicated team. This fixed-term position, covering maternity leave, offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients with brain and spine tumors.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care, encompassing both neurosurgical and oncological nursing principles.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise and decision-making skills to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver a holistic patient-centered approach.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives within the Neuro Oncology Service.
- Lead nurse-led clinics, supporting consultants and providing continuity of care for patients in the outpatient setting.
About You
You will be a registered nurse with a strong background in neurosurgical and/or cancer nursing. A specialist qualification in Neuroscience or Oncological nursing, such as ENB 148 or equivalent, is essential. Your teaching qualifications, including ENB 998 MELPS or equivalent, will further enhance your ability to contribute to the team.
