Job Title: Biomass Engineer

Global Highland Limited is seeking a skilled Biomass Engineer to join their team in Inverness. As a key member of the company's industry-leading team, you will be responsible for designing, supplying, and installing innovative off-site prefabricated solutions for the commercial Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) sectors across Ireland and the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert maintenance, servicing, and repairs on biomass boiler projects across Scotland.
  • Respond to reactive callouts for critical faults, including out-of-hours emergencies.
  • Conduct monthly ash disposal visits and suggest improvements to existing installations.
  • Perform fault-finding and servicing on biomass plants and related M&E systems.
  • Collaborate closely with site-based and office-based engineering teams.
  • Complete field-based job reports efficiently using tablet devices.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working with biomass systems (preferably HERZ 300Kw 1.5Mw) and a strong background in commercial plumbing and heating.
  • Desirable: Experience with other biomass manufacturers and systems.
  • A full, clean driving license and willingness to travel throughout Scotland, including occasional overnight stays.
