Job Introduction

We're committed to empowering individuals to overcome substance use challenges. Our Herefordshire Recovery Service is dedicated to providing comprehensive support, and we're seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RGN) or Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team as a Specialist Substance Use Nurse.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients. With a focus on holistic care, you'll work collaboratively to deliver exceptional clinical services, ensuring the best possible outcomes for those we support.

Key Responsibilities

You'll be responsible for undertaking a range of tasks, including conducting wellbeing clinics in the community, performing health and wellbeing assessments, and providing support for alcohol and opiate community detoxifications.

Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to administer IM pabrinex and injectable buprenorphine, as well as other harm reduction and wellbeing interventions. Your expertise will be invaluable in shaping service delivery and contributing to the development of outstanding clinical services.
