About The Role

Chef Ty Bronllys School Brecon is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours a week, term time only, with a competitive hourly rate of £12.82.

Orbis Education & Care provides expert care and education for individuals with complex needs related to Autism and SEMH. Our child-centred approach focuses on personal strengths and interests, empowering children to lead active, fulfilling lives.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced chef to join our team, responsible for managing the culinary operations and providing high-quality meals for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the kitchen operations, ensuring efficient and safe food preparation and service.
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the dietary needs of our students.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Collaborate with our care team to ensure seamless integration of food services with our care and education programs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a care or education setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
