Job Title: Project Manager - Exterior Lighting

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. As a Project Manager - Exterior Lighting, you will be responsible for managing and growing our exterior lighting product sales in the North East region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow the business in the North East region.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with electrical consultants, M&E consultants, landscape architects, and specifiers to generate specifications and drive sales.
  3. Sell to and deal directly with main contractors and electrical contractors to increase sales and revenue.
  4. Manage and grow an existing area with a modest £250,000 turnover to £500,000 in the first year.
  5. Work on projects with budgets ranging from £10,000 to £20,000, with the potential for larger projects.
  6. Split time between account management and new business development.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in electrical specification sales or a related field.
  2. Knowledge of exterior lighting products is not essential, but a willingness to learn is required.
  3. Established relationships with electrical consultants are desirable.
  4. Consideration will be given to senior electrical wholesale field sales professionals with strong relationships on patch with electrical contractors.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
