Crisis Response Home Treatment Team
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Crisis Response Home Treatment Team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering person-centered care and supporting clients to remain in the community where there are the best outcomes for recovery.
Key Responsibilities- To contribute to assessments of service users to establish whether they can benefit from occupational therapy intervention whilst under the Crisis Response Home Treatment Team (CRHTT).
- To undertake specialist ADL assessments when required and make subsequent recommendations for further occupational therapy intervention.
- To liaise directly with social care and community occupational therapists to ensure any recommendations made following ADL assessments are communicated.
- To make decisions on the level of intervention required and undertake treatment planning; communicating and negotiating treatment plans and clinical reasoning for intervention with clients, their carer(s) and other healthcare professionals involved in the individuals care.
Essential Qualifications and Registration
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC Registration
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience of working within mental health
- Experience of carrying out individual interventions and group work
