Job Title: Structural & Civil Engineering

At Acies, we are seeking a highly skilled Structural & Civil Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural engineering designs for a variety of commercial building projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop structural engineering solutions for new build and renovation/alteration projects.
  • Utilize design software packages including TEDDS, S-Frame, Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Fastrack Suite, REVIT, Robot, Microdrainage / Flow, and AutoCAD LT.
  • Attend design team and client meetings to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Conduct site inspections and surveys to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of project proposals and reports.
Requirements:
  • BEng or MEng in civil and/or structural engineering.
  • Approximately 2 years post-graduate experience in consultancy, working on commercial building structures projects.
  • Civil Engineering/Drainage design experience is an advantage.
  • Aiming to become a Chartered Engineer with ICE or IStructE.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or as an individual.
  • Willingness to spend time on site and occasional stays away from home.
  • Full UK driving licence.
