About the Role:
We are seeking experienced social workers to join our team in Bedford Borough Council. As a social worker in our team, you will be responsible for working with children and adults with disabilities, assessing their needs, and providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing the needs of children and adults with disabilities
- Developing and implementing care plans to meet the needs of service users
- Working with other professionals to provide support and guidance to service users
- Managing a caseload of service users and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
- Providing regular supervision and support to colleagues
Requirements:
- Experience of working with children and adults with disabilities
- Qualification in social work (e.g. CQSW, DipSW, BA Hons Social Work)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks
