About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust. As a key member of our community team, you will work across Wolverhampton and Cannock Chase Hospital, delivering a high-quality dietetics service to patients requiring nutrition support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat nutrition-related problems in various settings, including rehabilitation hospitals, patient homes, care homes, and outpatients.
  • Work with outpatients and care homes to promote Food First as a nutritional management approach.
  • Provide training to community colleagues on nutrition support and enteral feeding.
  • Contribute to the training and development of students on clinical placement, apprentice dietitians, and junior colleagues.
  • Undertake audit and projects to promote service quality and development.
Person Specification
  • Essential qualifications: HCPC Registration in Dietetics.
  • Desirable qualifications: Clinical Educators Course, PENG Clinical Update.
  • Essential experience: Experience in nutrition, nutrition support, and enteral feeding. Evidence of continued professional development.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to travel between community sites.
