About the Role

We are currently partnering with an established law practice with locations across the West Midlands. Our client is actively recruiting for an Accounts Legal Cashier to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Accounts department with completing various financial tasks, as well as supporting the firm and their clientele with answering general financial queries.

Duties for this Role

  • Client billing and financial management
  • Maintaining accurate ledger postings for clients and internal accounts
  • BACS/CHAPS payments and bank account reconciliations
  • Credit control and accounts payable management
  • Purchase ledger management and general accounts administration
  • Collaborating with fee earners to ensure balances are up to date and accurate

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience as a Legal Cashier or in a similar role
  • Previous experience with legal client billing and financial management
  • Experience with SRA Account rules and regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with assisting with the annual audit process
