Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Pertemps Stoke is seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Engineer to join their team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing air compressors and ancillary equipment in Stoke and surrounding territories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform prompt and efficient servicing and maintenance on customer machines.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on equipment both in the field and workshop.
  • Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and commission new equipment.
  • Install new equipment and pipework at customer sites.
  • Identify and order necessary parts for repairs.
  • Complete and submit accurate job reports in a timely manner.
  • Plan and organize daily and weekly visit schedules if required.
  • Participate in the on-call rota to provide emergency support.
  • Maintain tools and test instruments to ensure they remain in good working condition.
  • Carry out ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Experience with Compressors, Dryers, Nitrogen (N2) Systems, Pumps, Pipework.
  • Current experience in repairing, servicing, and installing the relevant equipment.
  • A full, clean driving license.
  • Previous mechanical or electrical service experience.
  • Mechanical or electrical qualification.
