Job Summary

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing emotional support and companionship to our customers, as well as assisting them with everyday tasks. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, where no two days are the same, and you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives.

Key Responsibilities

* Supporting customers with all aspects of their personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
* Assisting customers with medication management, including administering medication and recording dosages
* Assisting customers with meal preparation, including cooking and cleaning up
* Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment, such as walkers and wheelchairs
* Promoting customer health and well-being, enabling them to live their life to the full

Requirements

* A kind and caring attitude, with a passion for delivering high-quality care and support
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible approach to working hours and days
* Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle, for travel to customers’ homes
* Ability to work alternate weekends, and be available to work a variety of shifts, including early morning and evening shifts
