About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Coordinator to join our dynamic and client-focused team at Connect It Utilities Services. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a crucial role in directing and coordinating the operation of building services and sustainable energy systems, ensuring the smooth delivery of our multi-utility operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document Control: Take responsibility for saving drawings and documents in accordance with systems and processes.
  • Design Review and Coordination: Review and determine materials, equipment, service capacities, and layouts in accordance with specifications.
  • Engineering Liaison: Liaise with teams to assist and coordinate the design process from contract award through to construction.
  • Project Coordination: Organize processes, coordinate legal requirements, and adhere to safety standards.
  • Gas and Water Connection Management: Direct gas and water connection requests.
  • Procurement Support: Liaise with procurement colleagues to place orders for pipework, cables, and plan materials.
  • Asset Management: Manage MPANS & MPRNS from the relevant Asset adopters.
  • Asset Mapping: Oversee the process for Asset Maps and Highway Extent Plans.
  • Substation Coordination: Coordinate the ordering and delivery of Substations.
  • Financial Management: Make payments, send remittances, and record information.
  • Record Keeping: Organize and establish records and documentation to ensure prompt asset value support.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administration support to the Technical Managers.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: BEng or MEng related degree or minimum of 2 years' relevant engineering experience in a similar role.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and IT skills.
  • Database Management: Be familiar with using a database and CRM systems to manage data.
  • Attention to Detail: A strong attention to detail to ensure that systems run seamlessly.
  • Time Management: Time management skills that allow effective prioritization.
  • Team Player: A can-do attitude that will support other tasks as the business develops.
