Job Title: Automation Specialist

At Gist, we are seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to join our Site Maintenance Team in Thornbury. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining the site and site sortation system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned maintenance on the site sorter to ensure work is carried out in accordance with the required schedule and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical faults with the machine and across the wider site.
  • Be proactive in your approach, always looking for ways to improve things.
  • Carry out repair and improvement work across the site, plant, and equipment.
  • Ensure all work undertaken and equipment downtime are accurately recorded on our CMMS.
