The position of Collecting Officer is within our Rapid Diagnostics business. As a Collecting Officer, you will work at a fixed site in the Bridgewater region to carry out specimen collections in various methods, such as urine, breath, hair, and oral fluid, as required.
You are required to complete pre-employment, pre-booked collections and participate in the on-call service, which is on a rotational basis.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct specimen collections competently following collection procedures and customer requirements and instructions to deliver a quality specimen collection service at customer locations.
- Provide availability to attend collections during the day, evenings, weekends, and public holidays in line with business needs.
- Participate in a 24-hour on-call rota on an equal basis with the rest of the team and respond to calls immediately, arriving on site within 2 hours.
- Remain current with processes by reading and acknowledging updates within the required time frame and attend audits at the required time to remain competent.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as directed by the management of the business.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:
- Education to National Standards.
- Good verbal, written, and communication skills.
- IT literate and basic skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- A self-motivated individual with a flexible approach to work.
- Ability to follow set processes to ensure the right outcome.
- Driving license and own vehicle.
