We are seeking a talented Small Animal Veterinary Specialist to join our team.

Job Description

This is a locum position starting with 3 days per week, offering a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering High-Quality Care: Providing expert veterinary care to small animals in accordance with best practices of veterinary medicine.
  • Patient Safety and Well-being: Diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions to ensure patient safety and well-being.
  • Effective Communication: Communicating effectively with pet owners, providing them with guidance on preventive care and treatment plans.
  • Maintenance of Medical Records: Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborating with veterinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Veterinary Degree: A veterinary degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current License: A current license to practice as a veterinarian in the UK.
  • Diagnostic and Surgical Skills: Strong diagnostic, surgical, and medical skills, with experience in small animal care.
  • Excellent Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Independent and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Shift Patterns

We offer flexible working hours to support a healthy work-life balance:

  • Monday: Off-duty
  • Tuesday: 9 - 5
  • Wednesday: Off-duty
  • Thursday: 9 - 5
  • Friday: 9 - 5
  • Saturday: Off-duty
  • Sunday: Off-duty
