Aerospace Accreditation and Product Management Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced Aerospace Accreditation Manager/Aerospace Product Manager to work with a client specializing in the assessment and accreditation of UK organizations.

This is a full-time, hybrid/remote position, working from 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend travel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects associated with maintaining accreditation, auditing, and assessments within the aviation/aerospace field.
  • Ensure the successful procurement and delivery of contracts within budget, on time, and in accordance with accreditation requirements, from start to finish.
  • Establish the assessment approach, select, lead, and coordinate the assessment team(s), and collate and report each assessment.
  • Handle an approximate caseload of 5-10 customers at any one time, ensuring the highest level of customer care to successfully deliver and complete projects within agreed timeframes.
Main Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge of the aerospace/aviation sector with a strong track record of working within a third-party certification/accreditation body, focusing on quality, assessment, and auditing.
  • Hands-on experience and a good understanding of aerospace management systems in organizations, specifically AS9100, AS9110, and AS9120.
  • UK driving license.
  • Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17021 and its implementation, as well as ISO 9001/14000/45000.
  • Commercial-minded and customer-focused with a mindset of adding value.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in leading and managing teams.
  • Project management experience within aerospace.
  • Relevant degree/postgraduate qualification (advantageous).
