We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Steer Automotive Group in Cheltenham. As an experienced MET (Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim) Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and replacing mechanical, electrical, and trim components on various vehicles.

About the Role:

  • Carry out mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs, including ADAS calibration and wheel alignment
  • Dismantle vehicles to prepare them for panel work
  • Perform inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostics
  • Manage replacement part orders and inventories
  • Reassemble vehicles with new components, restoring them to pre-accident condition
  • Evaluate work quality and ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standards

About You:

You should have proven experience as an MET Technician, including work on electric and hybrid vehicles, along with expertise in ADAS, wheel alignment, and diagnostic tools. A flexible and customer-focused approach is also essential.

Estimated Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum
