We are seeking a Wellbeing Mentor to join our team at Bevan Community Benefit Society. As a Wellbeing Mentor, you will work in collaboration with our colleagues to deliver a coordinated and high-quality social prescribing service. Your role will be to support clients to access and engage with the extensive range of support in the community.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage safeguarding concerns appropriate to your role and level of training.
- Plan, develop, and facilitate group activities and workshops.
- Use social prescribing to empower people to take control of their health and wellbeing.
Key Skills and Qualities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- IT literate, with a sound working knowledge of Microsoft packages and data management/case recording systems.
- A commitment to an enabling solution-focused approach to promote independence in service users.
