Job Title: Lead Mechanical & Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

The Lead Mechanical & Electrical Engineer will assist in the engineering management of mechanical and electrical systems, perform general maintenance and repairs, and provide a safe, efficient, and comfortable working environment for staff. The successful candidate will be hands-on and work closely with building management, IT, and Facilities staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and supervise basic facilities maintenance and repairs, including critical facility systems.
  • Monitor and respond to environmental alarms.
  • Respond to employee requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist project teams in managing the installation and maintenance of architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Supervise vendors during preventive maintenance and execute corrective measures as required.
  • Coordinate procedures and testing with landlord staff of integrated systems.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute project deliverables.
  • Take on special projects as needed.
Requirements
  • At least 15+ years of building engineering and 5+ years of critical environment experience preferred.
  • Completion of accredited refrigeration and electrical training programs.
  • Demonstrated customer service and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, be hands-on, and prioritize in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Quick learner, detail-oriented, and strong ownership of work.
  • Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others.
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment with a high sense of urgency.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Capable of working flexible hours, including nights and weekends when required.
  • Capable of traveling to satellite offices located in EMEA.
