Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Derby:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant/HLTA to join our team at a mainstream Primary School in Derby.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality support to teachers and pupils, with a strong ability to foster positive relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers.

About the Job:

  • Work collaboratively with teachers to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons, promoting a love of learning in pupils
  • Provide targeted support to students who require additional assistance, using your expertise to tailor your approach to meet their individual needs
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of whole-school initiatives, promoting a culture of excellence and inclusion
  • Engage in regular professional development opportunities, staying current with best practices in teaching and learning
