Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Residential Service Lead to oversee the management of a New Residential Service for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

This role requires a strong leader who can ensure that our services meet the highest standards, fully compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements in relation to The Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality residential services to young people and their families, while leading a team of professionals to achieve this goal.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Effective day-to-day operation and management of an OFSTED regulated Children's Home.
  • Promoting the best outcomes for young people through research, development, and partnership.
  • Maintaining compliance with Ofsted registration and the home's Statement of Purpose.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in management within young people's residential services.
  • Completed RMA/NVQ 4 in Leadership + Management.
  • Excellent working knowledge of children's homes national minimum standards and the Children's Act 2010.
  • Ability to cope with emotionally challenging situations and act calmly under pressure.

Salary Estimate: €40,000 - €60,000 per annum
