About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced joinery professional to join our team as a Lecturer in Joinery. As a key member of our curriculum team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding teaching and assessment to students studying site and bench joinery up to Level 3.

The successful candidate will have a passion for woodworking and a strong commitment to education. You will be able to bring your expertise to life, using a combination of practical, theoretical, and digital methods to engage learners and equip them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their future careers.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment to students studying site and bench joinery up to Level 3
• Develop and implement creative resources to inspire outstanding learning
• Monitor and track learner progress to promote positive outcomes
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to achieve strategic and organisational objectives

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to hold a vocational qualification at Level 3 or above, as well as a relevant teaching qualification and assessors award. You will also be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
