Accounting Lecturer/Assessor

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Assessor in Accounting to join our team at Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with our team to develop and deliver high-quality apprenticeships in accounting. As an Assessor in Accounting, you will be responsible for assessing the skills and knowledge of apprentices in accounting, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
You will work closely with local employers, including the development of Higher Apprentices, and take an active part in the recruitment of new apprentices through contact with local employers, managing key accounts, schools/colleges, and through events.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with local employers, including the development of Higher Apprentices
- Deliver high-quality apprenticeships by carrying out workplace assessment and delivering underpinning knowledge with a bias to accounting at level 2-4
- Take an active part in the recruitment of new apprentices through contact with local employers, managing key accounts, schools/colleges, and through events
- Complete all required information under the projects to include Initial Assessment and Individual Learning Plan
- Hold appropriate Assessor and/or Teaching qualifications is desirable but not essential
- Has relevant industrial experience within the accounting sector
