Networks and Security Engineer

£370 Per day INSIDE IR35

6 month contract (possible extension)

Hybrid: 2 x days a week onsite at offices in Colchester or London

We are seeking a skilled Networks and Security Engineer to join our team at TRIA. The ideal candidate will have core experience working on networking technologies in public cloud – with Azure and GCP.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with the Product Owner to construct a backlog of user stories and technical requirements
  2. Work with the Agile Delivery Lead to provide accurate estimation of work and contribute to timely delivery
  3. Act as the go-to person for networking requirements within the squad
  4. Consume and understand technical requirements, contributing to and challenging design before execution
  5. Collaborate with engineers, testers, and other team members for migration work, DR tests, etc., including out-of-hours work where necessary
  6. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both verbally and in writing

Requirements

  1. Azure networking (NSG, VNet peering, UDR, Private Link/Endpoint, Azure firewall, load balancer)
  2. Deployment experience of Azure vWAN Hub and Cloud NGFW
  3. Building VPNs with other cloud providers and appliances
  4. Checkpoint CloudGuard and Palo VM and VMSS (VM scale set) in Azure
  5. Azure DNS
  6. Infoblox DDI
  7. ExpressRoute and VNET gateways
  8. Terraform, GIT
