Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineering Project Coordinator to join our team at Manpower UK Ltd. This role will involve assisting the Design Manager in delivering project scope, including undertaking structural engineering activities, technical delivery of design packages, and ensuring design documentation meets agreed standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing heavy civil engineering and building structures, knowledge of architectural design, and understanding of engineering design and safety practices. A degree in Civil/Mechanical or Structural engineering is required, with working towards Chartered Engineer status preferred.

This is a 12-month contract, based in Plymouth, with an estimated salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. The role involves working remotely, and the candidate must be able to manage tasks effectively while ensuring compliance with Company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Design Manager in delivering project scope
  • Undertake structural engineering activities to required scope, quality, schedule, and cost
  • Responsible for technical aspects of structural engineering work packages from identification to handover
  • Ensure design documentation covers scope of operations required by Project Manager and is produced to agreed standards, schedule, and budget
