Associate Director of Cost Management

Aldwych Consulting is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Cost Management to join their team in London. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading cost consultants on high-value projects, ensuring accurate feasibility estimates, cost planning, and contract procurement.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and delegate activities of the cost consultant team, covering feasibility estimates, cost planning, contract procurement, tender documentation, tender evaluation, value engineering, and commercial awareness.
  2. Champion a safe and secure environment to promote the company's culture.
  3. Drive performance standards through expert communication and effective use of the performance management process.
  4. Work on diverse projects, analyzing data and applying problem-solving skills.
  5. Be accountable for briefing the team on project scope and ensuring roles and responsibilities are understood.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree or master's in quantity surveying or equivalent.
  2. Experience managing high-value and complex projects within a consultancy environment.
  3. Workplace, retail, commercial, or mixed-use sector experience with appropriate project value and size.
