Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Voice and Influence Practitioner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and Enable Children: To support and enable children and young people, and where appropriate their families, to have a voice and influence in decision-making.
  • Increase Voice and Influence: To increase and embed the voice and influence of children and young people, and where appropriate their families, in the delivery and management of the service.
For Service Users:

We will support, devise and facilitate a range of opportunities for children, young people, and where appropriate their families, to have a voice and influence in decision-making.

For Resources:

We will be responsible for equipment/resources linked to service delivery.

For Health and Safety:

We will promote, monitor and maintain health safety and security in the working environment.

The role is spread across the Mental Health and Wellbeing Child Service for 11 hours and the Additional Needs Service for 11 hours.

This role will reduce to 18.1 hours per week in 2027/2028 (due to funding).

This contract is due to expire on 1 March 2028.
