About the Role

The RNLI is seeking a highly skilled Coastal Estates Manager to join their team in the North East of England. This critical role plays an integral part in supporting the lifesaving service through the safe, efficient, and effective management of the organization's unique and diverse infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an operational portfolio of buildings, accurately assessing condition, specifying, and procuring planned and emergency works.
  • Monitor contractor performance against safety, quality, and cost criteria.
  • Deliver multiple concurrent projects over diverse geographical and technical areas.
Requirements
  • Extensive practical experience of managing building maintenance & construction works at a professional level, ideally in a maritime environment.
  • Educated to HNC level or equivalent in Building Construction or Civil Engineering, with membership of a professional body such as CIOB, RICS, or ICE.
  • Commercial and financial acumen, excellent IT and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
