About GLG Vets:

We are seeking an experienced Night Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team at a renowned veterinary practice in Hendon, Greater London. As a passionate advocate for providing top-tier care for animals, you will thrive in a night-time environment and deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emergency care and treatment to pets throughout the night, ensuring their health and well-being.
  • Conduct consultations, diagnostics, and treatments for various medical and surgical cases.
  • Manage hospitalised patients overnight and oversee their treatment plans.
  • Work collaboratively with the daytime team to ensure seamless transitions between shifts.
  • Support and mentor junior veterinary staff and nurses.

Requirements:

  • RCVS Registered Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Experience in emergency and critical care (ECC) or a strong willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to support and mentor other staff members.
