The Role of an Assistant Town Planner
As an Assistant Town Planner, you will be responsible for supporting the team in delivering a wide range of projects, including planning applications, appeals, and advice. You will be an integral part of the team, working closely with sector-leading professionals to gain industry experience and build your technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the team in delivering planning applications, appeals, and advice
- Contribute to the development of projects, including residential, commercial, retail, and mixed-use developments
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals and objectives
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the UK planning system
- Provide high-quality research, analytical, and reporting skills
Requirements
- Degree or higher in a relevant subject (RTPI Accredited)
- Understanding of the UK planning system
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
- Strong research, analytical, and reporting skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
