Job Role: Non-Life Insurance Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Non-Life Insurance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and reporting on the non-life insurance market, including cross-border insurance arrangements and reinsurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate market developments in insurance and tax regulations worldwide, based on research from a variety of resources.
  • Research a focused set of markets to become an expert in the local insurance regulations, tax compliance requirements, and an understanding of the supervision of the insurance market.
  • Check the quality, accuracy, and integrity of non-life content in AXCO's product set.
  • Respond to client requests and content questions in a timely manner.
  • Produce written analysis of insurance markets for use in AXCO products, as well as whitepapers and other market-focused channels.
  • Collaborate with AXCO's data and country risk analysts, product teams, and other internal and external stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions as part of ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Non-Life (P&C) insurance.
  • Excellent understanding of global insurance programs and cross-border insurance arrangements. A familiarity with reinsurance arrangements and insurance tax is desirable.
  • Experience in researching, understanding, and summarizing regulations and information from supervisory bodies.
  • Ability to produce concise, accurate summaries based on large amounts of information.
  • Good writing and proof-reading skills.
  • Additional language skills are a bonus, but not a requirement.
  • Excellent communication and strong relationship-building skills, with internal and external stakeholders.
