Senior NPD Technologist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior NPD Technologist to join our client's food manufacturing business on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will work closely with the NPD Manager and other senior development technologists to deliver innovative projects from concept to launch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new product development projects from concept to launch
  • Collaborate with the process and production teams to ensure successful trial approval and launch
  • Work with the commercial team to monitor the commercial success of NPD launches
  • Build strong relationships with retailers and confidently present ideas

Requirements:

  • Degree in food science or related field
  • Several years of experience in managing projects from concept to launch in food manufacturing
  • Passion for food and staying up-to-date with the latest trends
  • Good commercial understanding and ability to generate product costings
  • Hands-on experience in the kitchen producing samples and running taste panels

About the Role:

This is a five-day-a-week on-site contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building relationships with retailers and a good understanding of commercial principles.
