Estimator Opportunity with Reputable Flooring Contractor

About the Company:
Premises Recruitment Ltd is working with a well-established specialist flooring contractor based in Enfield, London. With over 20 years of experience, they have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality flooring and wall installations in the commercial and new build sectors.

The company's projects range from £10,000 to £2m in value, including tiling, ceramics, porcelain, and natural stone tiles for various projects such as health clubs, restaurants, hotels, and corporate office spaces in London and its surrounding areas.

Estimator Responsibilities:
  1. The estimator will be responsible for the commercial aspects of all live projects, working in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  2. Provide support and guidance to the commercial team.
  3. Ensure continuous communication with the main contractor.
  4. Monitor project finances and ensure budgets are not exceeded.
  5. Complete monthly valuations and provide substantiation for variations and valuations.
Estimator Requirements:
  1. Strong background in the subcontracting industry, including tiling, flooring, drylining, carpentry, and joinery.
  2. At least 3 years of experience as an estimator.
  3. Ability to review JCT contracts and understand clauses.
  4. Promptly identify, prevent, and resolve business-related problems.
Estimator Salary:

The company is offering a salary package of up to £60k, depending on the candidate's relevant experience and qualifications.
