A highly skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Support Specialist is required to join JP Digital in London/Hybrid (2 days 'in' per week) - £50,000 & Benefits. This exciting opportunity offers a unique chance to be an integral part of how Infrastructure operates in one of England's largest sports clubs.

The successful candidate will sit within the Infrastructure team, responsible for the Cloud Platform and on-premises environments. Reporting directly to the Infrastructure Manager, the role holder will help deliver, support, review, and take ownership of all infrastructure projects and tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Support: Monitor Cloud-based Production Systems, administer Identity and Access Management across Cloud technologies, create and maintain Terraform scripts, and continually review existing infrastructure.
  • Server Administration: Support, maintain, and review servers, including hardware, operating systems, IIS, AD, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, CA, SQL, Hyper-V, Firewall, Cisco Networks, Teams Telephone system, Backup system, Azure, Office 365, and Microsoft System Centre back-office server.
  • Project Management: Implement and document new IT Solutions, project manage them from inception to completion, and liaise with 3rd party support providers.

Timely resolution of problems and assisting service delivery teams with incident resolution via a support ticketing system are essential skills for this role.

Person Specification: We are looking for someone with experience supporting Public Cloud technologies, using Terraform or an understanding of Infrastructure as Code, knowledge of Cloud security and associated best practices, Kubernetes and/or Redhat OpenShift, experience working with Linux and Windows based operating systems, and creating, managing, and deploying Ansible.

The successful candidate must be educated to degree level and have credible support experience, preferably within a small team.

Requirements:
  • Must have excellent knowledge of supporting and maintaining server hardware, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, WINS, SQL 2012 and above, Office 365, Cisco Switches and Routing, and Azure/Intune.
  • Desirable: Veaam backup solution, Linux, SCCM, Hyper-V, SharePoint, Dell, Checkpoint Firewalls, AWS, SolarWinds, Ansible, and Cisco DNAC.
