We are seeking an experienced Technical Services Lead to join our team, overseeing technical aspects of our operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Job Summary: As a Technical Services Lead, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems and food safety protocols. You will lead and mentor a team of quality assurance and technical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Additionally, you will drive initiatives to optimize operational processes and improve product quality, including the implementation of new technologies and practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality management systems and food safety protocols in accordance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance and technical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Drive initiatives to optimize operational processes and improve product quality, including the implementation of new technologies and practices.
  • Liaise with external regulatory bodies and customers regarding quality assurance and food safety matters.

Requirements:
  • A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in a quality or technical management role within the meat or food processing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality assurance standards, and HACCP principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant quality management software.

Estimated Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per annum, based on industry standards.
