About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing client money and stock reconciliations to daily and monthly requirements. This will involve liaising with and assisting other CASS Team members with reconciliations and query resolution, as well as maintaining internal records of exceptions and break resolution.

Familiarity with the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) Client Asset rules (CASS) and their application within a financial services business is an advantage, but not essential. The successful candidate will be expected to learn and understand these rules as part of their role.

After 90 days in the role, the successful candidate will be expected to perform basic cash and stock reconciliations independently. With continued on-the-job training, the successful candidate could progress to more complex reconciliations that need to be performed.

About You

The successful candidate will have an excellent eye for detail and be able to handle tasks with thoroughness and accuracy. They will be able to communicate clearly and listen effectively, and should be able to construct written communication concisely, using the appropriate grammar, style and language.

The candidate should be confident with Microsoft Excel and Word on an intermediate level or higher, and be able to assist the team in developing and maintaining appropriate internal business relationships, using the appropriate communication method.
