As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support to the business, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in-house legal services, including reviewing and advising on commercial contracts, providing guidance on regulatory matters, and supporting business areas with legal queries.
  • Provide ongoing advice to relevant business areas on changes in the financial services sector, including regulatory, legislative, guidance, and policy updates.
  • Collaborate with senior solicitors and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective legal strategies that support the business's goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • A qualified solicitor with a minimum of 1 year's commercial contracts experience, ideally with a background in financial services law.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in the financial services sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
