Specialist Teacher for SEMH Students

About the Role:
A reputable school group is seeking an enthusiastic and committed SEMH Teacher to join their permanent team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to students with SEMH/SEN needs
- Foster a supportive and nurturing learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other specialists
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans (EHCPs)
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience in teaching students with SEMH/SEN needs, ideally within a specialist setting
- Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Dedication to supporting the emotional, social, and academic growth of students
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
