With a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care, we are expanding our Estates department and seeking an experienced Architectural Assistant/Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Architectural Assistant/Technician to support our Development Director in the production of drawing packs and supporting information for feasibility and planning stages. The successful candidate will have experience working on multi-unit residential/care projects and will be proficient in Rhino (2D and 3D) and Adobe Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production of drawing packs and supporting information for feasibility and planning stages.
  • Visiting a portfolio of sites to survey and draft proposals.
  • Dealing with external consultants for submissions and information exchange.
  • Working on RIBA Stages 1-3 with some on-site experience.
  • Collaborating with external consultants across a field of expertise/backgrounds.

Requirements:

  • Experience working on multi-unit residential/care projects is desirable.
  • Minimum undergraduate part 1/2 qualification with 1 year experience in practice.
  • Reasonable knowledge of UK building regulations.
  • Good written communication skills and the ability to visualise, illustrate and present ideas clearly.
  • Proficiency in Rhino (2D and 3D) and Adobe Suite essential.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Full, clean UK driving license and own vehicle required.
