Gold Care Homes is a leading provider of care services for the elderly, operating 34 care homes across the South of England. With a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care, we are expanding our Estates department and seeking an experienced Architectural Assistant/Technician to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Architectural Assistant/Technician to support our Development Director in the production of drawing packs and supporting information for feasibility and planning stages. The successful candidate will have experience working on multi-unit residential/care projects and will be proficient in Rhino (2D and 3D) and Adobe Suite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production of drawing packs and supporting information for feasibility and planning stages.
- Visiting a portfolio of sites to survey and draft proposals.
- Dealing with external consultants for submissions and information exchange.
- Working on RIBA Stages 1-3 with some on-site experience.
- Collaborating with external consultants across a field of expertise/backgrounds.
Requirements:
- Experience working on multi-unit residential/care projects is desirable.
- Minimum undergraduate part 1/2 qualification with 1 year experience in practice.
- Reasonable knowledge of UK building regulations.
- Good written communication skills and the ability to visualise, illustrate and present ideas clearly.
- Proficiency in Rhino (2D and 3D) and Adobe Suite essential.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Full, clean UK driving license and own vehicle required.
