About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated team at Oakfield Veterinary Surgery. As a Veterinary Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality animal care and contributing to the success of our practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor anaesthetics and provide nursing care to sick animals
- Administer medication and perform various nursing duties
- Take x-rays and run blood tests as required
- Participate in nurse consultations and provide excellent patient care
Work-Life Balance
We understand the importance of work-life balance and offer a flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours. Our typical full-time role involves working 40 hours across 5 days per week, with Saturdays on a shared rota (1 in 5). There is no out-of-hours requirement.
About Our Practice
Oakfield Veterinary Surgery is a long-standing practice with a small but fantastic team and a loyal client base. We are kitted out with fantastic facilities, including 3 consult rooms, a theatre, digital X-ray facilities, a laser therapy unit, an ultrasound scanner, and a cardiac scanner.
Our Team
We are a close-knit team of 2 vets, 3 veterinary nurses, 1 veterinary care assistant, and 2 receptionists. We work together to provide the very best service we can.
About You
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Veterinary Nurse who is organised, compassionate, and has excellent communication skills. You will be a confident and enthusiastic individual who is looking for a new challenge within a busy and supportive team.
