Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant Microbiologist to join our team at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Specialist Cancer & Support Services Care Group, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical microbiology services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide cross-cover duties to other hospitals within the Path Links NHS Pathology Service.
- Contribute to the development of the OPAT service and services within specialist units.
- Collaborate with the microbiology team to ensure seamless delivery of clinical microbiology services.
- Participate in the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Experience in clinical microbiology, with a strong background in laboratory medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
